Centre gives go-ahead for HEC revival

New Delhi, Sep 4 (UNI) The Centre today gave its approval for revival and restructuring of Heavy Engineering Corporation Limited, Ranchi.

A decision in this regard was taken by a meeting of the Cabinet Commtitee on Economic Affairs.

An official spokesman told mediapersons that the company had been sick for a long time. It had started earning profit from 2006-07.

With the approval of revival package, the profitability would be sustained and company would be able to execute long pending orders and move forward towards better performance.
