A-Star to be launched in October: Maruti Suzuki India

New Delhi, Sep 4: Country's leading car maker Maruti Suzuki India Ltd said the launch of its much coveted A-Star is on schedule and its exports will begin in December this year. ''We had planned to launch the A-star model in the domestic market in October and that is on schedule and we will start exports from December or January,'' company Managing Director Shinzo Nakanishi told reporters here.

Initially, the car will be exported to Europe, he added.
