Srinagar District Magistrate shifted

Srinagar, Sep 3 (UNI) The District Magistrate, Srinagar, has been shifted as Jammu and Kashmir government ordered transfer and postings of four IAS and KAS officers with immediate effect.

An official spokesman said Mehraj Ahmad Kakroo, KAS, Deputy Commissioner Pulwama has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, replacing Kachoo Isfandyar Khan who will report to General Administration department for further posting.

Mr S L Bhat, IAS, awaiting posting of orders on his repatriation from the central deputation has been posted as Financial Commissioner, Planning and Development department vice Mr Madhav Lal who has been has been transferred and posted as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) in the J &K Resident Commission, New Delhi pending his appointment on central deputation at the level of Additional Secretary or equivalent in the government of India.

Mr Ishtiyaq Ahmad Ashai, KAS, Director, Area Planning and Ex-officio Special Secretary to Government, Planning and Development Department has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner Pulwama.
