No industrial development in MP despite central assistance

Neemuch, MP, Sep 3 (UNI) Union Commerce and Industries Minister Kamal Nath today alleged that Madhya Pradesh has been devoid of industrial development despite central assistance.

Mr Nath, while addressing a public meeting here, attributed sluggish industrial development to lack of infrastructure and absence of corruption-free atmosphere, although the Centre had provided all possible assistance.

''The BJP Government had failed on all fronts and people have been disillusioned by it. People want a change and would vote the Congress to power in the upcoming Assembly elections,'' he calimed.

The Minister, while addressing another public meeting at nearby Mandsaur district, said people had to pay the price of the State Government not being able to implement central schemes properly.

''There has been rise in corruption, atrocities against farmers and deterioration in the law and order situation. People would get freedom from all this when the Congress comes to power,'' he said.

State Congress in-charge V Narayan Sami and state Congress President Suresh Pachouri were also present in the meeting.
