Curfew lifted from Kishtwar, Poonch districts
Jammu, Sep 3 (UNI) The curfew restrictions has been lifted in twin bordering districts of Jammu and Kashmir after normalcy returned in Kishtwar and Poonch as no untoward incident has been reported during the past 24 hours, official sources here said.
''Life has returned to normal in communal clashes hit Kishtwar and Poonch districts, which witnessed prolonged unrest in the wake of the Amarnath land transfer row,'' sources said.
However, demanding probe against those involved in provoking communal clashes, the Shri Amarnath Yatra Sangharsh Samiti (SAYSS) said guilty should be punished for triggering communal violence.
