66 teachers selected for state awards

Chandigarh, Sep 3 (UNI) The Haryana Government today announced state award to 66 teachers who have done commendable and exemplary work in the field of education, co-curricular and social activities.

Disclosing this here today a spokesman of the Education Department said that the awards would be presented by the Governor, Dr AR Kidwai on the occasion of Teacher's Day on September 5 at Raj Bhawan.

He said that the selected teachers would be awarded with a cash prize of Rs 11,000, a shawl, memento and certificate.
