Kingfisher to start international service with London flight
Bangalore, Sep 2 (UNI) Kingfisher India's premier airliner, owned by liquor baron Vijay Mallya, will start its international service with a flight to London from the city tomorrow morning.
Talking to newspersons here today, Mr Mallya said the flight would be flagged off by Union Aviation Minister Praful Patel.
The A-321 daily flight would take off from the newly-built Bengaluru International Airport non-stop to London, marking the beginning of what was promised as the best way, to fly abroad from the state capital by Mr Mallya.
The flight would offer world class services with inflight entertainment, personalised multi-channel video, Live TV and extra- wide seats.
He said the traveller would experience qualify inflight food like never before. Kingfisher would offer six different types of veg and non-veg menus every day.
Mr Mallya said Kingfisher would provide more international flights from Bangalore, which it considered as its base. Soon the garden city would be connected to San Francisco, Hong Kong, Singapore and Dubai by non-stop flights from this winter.
The airline would also introduce flights from Mumbai to Dubai and Singapore, among others, he added.
