Elf Gas gets new brand name ''Totalgaz''
Bangalore, Sep 2 (UNI) Elf Gas India Limited, a fully owned subsidiary of the Elf Aquintaine of France taken over by Paris headquartered 'Total SA', today got its new name ''Totalgaz.'' Unveiling the new brand identity here today, Total LPG India Limited Managing Director Paul Jewell said the company's product would be marketed under the new brand name all over the country.
Deputy Managing Director V Rajeev said the company's share in the Indian market was one per cent, which was 11.3 million tonnes.
The company had invested Rs 2,000 crore in India, he said, adding, it was finalising to set up its own refinery in Visakhapatnam, in partnership with HPCL and L N Mittal group.
It was also setting up a bottling plant in Bangalore, he added.
Mr Jewell said Total, the fourth biggest oil and gas major in the world, was exploring crude oil in Africa, Middle East and Far East.
