Curfew lifted in Poonch, Kishtwar districts of Jammu
Jammu, Sep 2 (UNI) The administration has lifted the day curfew in violence-hit Kishtwar and Poonch districts of Jammu region as life returns to normal, official sources today said.
''No untoward incident was reported from anywhere in both the districts in the last 24 hours,'' official sources said and added that curfew has been relaxed between 0400 hours and 2200 hours though night curfew would continue till normalcy was restored completely.
Curfew was clamped in Poonch and Kishtwar to ensure law and order during the agitation launched by the Shri Amarnath Yatra Sangrash Samiti on the issue of land transfer to the shrine board.
