Case registered against policemen for assaulting dalit
Mahoba, Sep 2 (UNI) A case has been registered against three policemen today for allegedly committing atrocity on a dalit, who succumbed to his injuries in Charkhari area here yesterday.
An official inquiry has been initiated against the trio, Superintendent of Police R P Singh said.
Mahipal of Gaurahi had lodged a complaint against Siyaram, over which police moved the dalit from his house and allegedly assaulted him.
Later, Siyaram succumbed to his injuries.
