Uttam Kumar Basu appointed MRPL MD

New Delhi, Sep 1 (UNI) Mangalore Refineries and Petrochemicals Ltd (MPRL) today said it has appointed Uttam Kumar Basu as the Managing Director.

Mr Basu takes over from R Rajamani who superannuated on August 31, 2008, a company statement said.

Mr Basu was earlier serving as the Executive Director of the Gujarat Refinery Indian Oil Corporation Ltd.
