Two killed, nine injured in accident

Dehra Dun, Sep 1 (UNI) Two people were killed and nine injured, six of them seriously, when the jeep they were travelling in fell in a deep trench near Pathrakhal near Gandhketh village in Chamoli district today.

According to DMMC officials, the accident occurred at around 0730 hrs when the jeep, with 11 passengers fell into the deep trench, killing two people and leaving nine injured.

All the passengers were admitted to a local hospital where the condition of six was stated to be serious, officials added.
