One dead, 5 injured in grenade explosion in Bhuj
Bhuj, Gujarat, Sep 1 (UNI) One person was killed and five others injured in an explosion, as a grenade went off accidently at a disposal site in Sanjaynagari area today.
According to police sources, the explosion took place around 1530 hours when a worker accidently hammered an outdated grenade at the site. The worker diead five other injured.
The Bhuj Police cordoned off the entire area as a precautionary measure. Top police and administrative officials rushed to the spot for investigation.
The injured were admitted to a local civil hospital.
