Mystery fever claims 47 lives in UP
Kanpur, Sep 1 (UNI) As many as 195 people have died due to epidemic, of whom 47 reportedly died of mystery fever here in this monsoon season.
According to Kanpur (dehat) District Magistrate Rama Shankar Sahu, the fever has taken several people under its jaws.
The health department was, however, making all arrangements to tackle the situation, he added.
Meanwhile, Dr Lajja Ram , the head of a special control room set up in the district, said medical experts from Delhi were visiting the affected villages and conducting tests on blood samples of the denizens.
