MP attains self-sufficiency in energy sector: Mallayya

Satna, MP, Sept 1 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Commerce and Industries Minister Jayant Mallayya said that with a rapid pace state is attaining self-sufficiency in energy sector.

''Industrialists showed their interest not only in IT sector, energy sector but other sectors also in recently held Investors Meet,'' said the minister while addressing the biennial convention of District Industry Union here today, adding that it enforce the set up of industrial activities in state.

He said that its result would be visible in two or three years.

Claiming that so far 15 new industrial units have been set up in the state, he said that industrialists ventured in several industrial units in this state during last four-and-a-half years.

MP Ganesh Singh, Mayor Vimla Pandey, Vindhya Chamber of Commerce President Motilal Goyal and several industrial units representatives were present there.
