HC issues notice to HUDA Chief Administrator
Chandigarh, Sep 1 (UNI) The Punjab and Haryana High Court today issued notice to Haryana chief secretary and HUDA Chief Administrator Dharam Vir for reserving residential plots and flats in group housing societies at Gurgaon and Panchkula for the sitting members of Haryana Vidhan Sabha and Members of Parliament from the state.
The notice for September 18 was issued by the division bench of Chief Justice T S Thakur and Justice Surya Kant while hearing the petition filed by the Herald Co-operative Group Housing Society, Panchkula challenging the decision.
The petitioner has submitted that there is no such provision for MLAs and MPs in HUDA chart specifying reservation for various categories.
