Gold high, silver eases on bullish advice
Mumbai, Sep 1: A mixed trend was seen in the bullion market here on Monday, Sep 1.
Values of standard mint gold opened higher by Rs 30 at Rs 11,970 per ten gm on improved festival demand by local ornament-makers, but silver eased by Rs five at Rs 21,305 per kg from its last finish on sustained heavy selling pressure from local dealers, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association said.
Following were the opening domestic spot rates: Silver (per kg) 999 fineness grade: Rs 21,305 Gold (per 10 gm): 99.5 purity standard mint: Rs 11,970 99.9 purity pure gold: Rs 12,035.
