ER will run 41 pairs of puja special trains from Sept 30

Kolkata, Sep 1 (UNI) Eastern Railway has decided to run 41 pairs of puja special trains beginning from September 30.

Nine pairs of Howrah-Delhi (bi-weekly) super-fast special trains, (0231 Up/0232 Dn), four pairs of Howrah-Haridwar weekly super-fast express,(0235 Up/0236 Dn), four pairs of Howrah-New Jalpaiguri weekly super-fast special, (0257 Up/0258 Dn), and five pairs of Howrah-New Jalpaiguri weekly air-conditioned super-fast special, (0257 A Up/0258 A Dn), an ER release today said.

Besides four pairs of Howrah-Jaipur weekly air-conditioned super-fast express(0285 Up/0286 Dn), five pairs of Sealdah-New Jalpaiguri weekly super-fast special (0243 Up/0244 Dn), four pairs of Sealdah-Kathgodam Express (0363A Up/0364A Dn) and six pairs of Malda Town-New Delhi weekly express (0249 Up/0250 Dn) will be running as usulys.

These puja specials will run between September 30 to November 8, 2008.

For mail-express (superfast), extra fare will be charged for the booking in these special trains. For Sealdah-Kathgodam Express Mail/Express normal fare will be charged.

Booking in these trains will be available from September 2, from all the computerised railway reservation offices.
