Dhoot urges Tatas to end Singur imbroglio
Kolkata, Sept 01(UNI) Offering his initiative, Videocon Group Chairman V N Dhoot today urged the Tatas to come forward to end the deadlock over the Nano project at Singur.
"They ought to settle the matter directly with the help from the West Bengal Government," Mr Dhoot told reporters.
The Videocon Chairman said he was ready to meet Tata Group Chairman Ratan Tata in this regard provided he got an appointment in a week's time.
Mr Dhoot, who met Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee, said his Rs 15,000-crore steel and power plant projects were on track despite the turmoil at Singur.
