Abhayam to lend helping hand to disabled women
Kakinada, Sep 1 (UNI) The Abhayam foundation, a charity organisation based at Kakinada will help handicapped women by launching an Italian Lace making project for them to be gainfully employed.
As many as 37 disabled women belonging to weaker sections were provided training in lace making with marketing tie up.
At a function here today, completion certificates and work orders for Italian market were presented to them.
The main promoter of "Abhayam" foundation, Pydah Venkateswerarao said the trainees could earn between Rs 3,000 to Rs 4,000 per month by working from home. The more talented among them could earn more.
