596 load carriers arrive in Kashmir, 930 left

Srinagar, Sep 1 (UNI) As many as 1526 load-carriers laden with essential commodities, fruit, vegetables and fuel entered and left the Valley during past 24 hours.

Of the load carriers which arrived here, 132 carried rice, 28, flour, 8, sheep, 14, chicken, 6, fresh fruit and 251, other commodities. Besides, 59 tankers carried diesel, 31, kerosene oil, 20, petrol, 33, LPG and 14 empty trucks after off-loading goods outside the Valley also entered the Valley in the same period.

Stating this here the spokesman of the Divisional Administration said 930 load carriers left the Valley towards various destinations FOR outside the state during the same period.

Of these, 383 carried fruit, 27, vegetables, 284 other commodities and 281 after off-loading fuel here.
