Madhya Pradesh: 2 youth drown during picnic

Indore, Sep 1: Two youth drowned in a pond at the picnic spot of Tirchhapal near here, police said today.

The victims, identified as Bhagirathpura residents, Chanchal(23) and Sanjay(25), had gone to the picnic spot with some friends. While taking a bath in the pond there, both the boys entered the deep water.

Several people, who were present near the pond, raised an alarm but could not save the youth, police added.
