Sterlite bags award for performance in export
Chennai, Aug 31 (UNI) The Export Oriented Unit of the Tuticorin- based Sterlite Industries India Limited has won the prestigious Madras Export Processing Zone Special Economic Zone(SEZ) award for outstanding export performance in the year 2006-07.
The award was given under the sector Granite, Minerals and Ore at a function held here.
The award was presented to S.Varadharajan, Associate Vice- President, Indirect Tax, SIIL by R Gopalan IAS, Additional Secretary, Union Ministry of Commerce and Industry, an official release said here today.
