Sripathi assumes charge as new TN Chief Secretary
Chennai, Aug 31: Senior IAS officer K S Sripathi today assumed charge as the new Chief Secretary of Tamil Nadu.
He succeeds Mr L K Tripathy, who retired from service today.
The Tamil Nadu Government had on August 14 appointed Mr Sripathi as the Special Chief Secretary (SCS) of the State, a newly created post, as a prelude to taking over as the Chief Secretary.
An official release here said Mr Sripathi would also hold full additional charge as the Vigilance Commissioner and Commissioner for Administrative Reforms until further orders.
