Police station damaged in explosion in north Kashmir
Srinagar, Aug 31 (UNI) A major fire broke out after some grenades accidently went off and damaged Bandipora police station, about 55 km from here in north Kashmir, official sources said today.
They said grenades exploded accidentally early this morning in the Malkhana, a room where arms and ammunition are kept.
The Malkhana was completely damaged in the blast followed by fire in the police station. However, no one was injured.
It was not immediately known how the grenades exploded.
