INS Vikrant to be converted into modern museum on BOT basis

Mumbai, Aug 31 (UNI) Maharashtra Government has accorded approval to convert INS Vikrant into a modern museum on a Build Operate and Transfer (BOT) basis.

As per the government resolution, dated August 2, the project will be implemented by Maharashtra Urban Infrastructure Development Company Limited, an official release said today.

The state government had taken the decision to implement the project on the BOT basis for its financial viability, the release added.
