Himachal Pradesh has over 45 lakh voters

Shimla, Aug 31 (UNI) The total number of electors in Himachal Pradesh has gone upto 45,40,041 with the addition of 48,648 new voters, state Chief Electoral Officer, Manisha Nanda stated here today.

She said that consequent upon the delimitation in the state, the process of special summary revision of photo electoral rolls of 68 assembly constituencies as per approved schedule with reference to January one (2008) as the qualifying date, had been completed.

She said that Election Commission of India had given approval for the final publication of electoral rolls.

She said that electoral rolls of all assembly constituencies of the state would be available on website.
