Doctor arrested for throwing acid on wife
Pune, Aug 31 (UNI) City Police today arrested a Manmad-based doctor Sitaram Dada Sarode (40) for allegedly throwing acid on his wife, over suspicion on her character.
Police said that Sarode allegedly threw acid on his wife Sangita's face and other parts of her body, leading to 45 per cent injury.
Sarode was produce in a local court, where he was remanded to five days of police custody.
