9 more fall prey to Malaria in UP city

Mathura, Aug 31 (UNI) Malaria has adversely hit this holy city of Uttar Pradesh and claimed the lives of nine more people in the last 48 hrs.

So far, more than 20 people have died due to Malaria, sources said today.

Meanwhile, Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Gyanendra Singh said four teams of medico's have been sent to the affected villages for treatment.

Besides, blood samples of the denizens were being tested and pesticides sprayed in the affected areas, he added.
