Tributes paid to Moopanar

Puducherry, Aug 30 (UNI) Floral tributes were paid to veteran Congress leader and founder-leader of the earstwhile Tamil Maanila Congress (TMC) G K Moopanar on the occasion of his seventh death anniversary here today.

Puducherry Speaker R Radhakrishnan, Legislators and senior officials in the territorial administration garlanded his statue at Marappalam, near here.

Puducherry Pradesh Congress Committee President A V Subramanian and party functionaries also paid their tributes to the leader.
