Seven ultras nabbed in Manipur
Imphal, Aug 30 (UNI) Altogether seven militants of different outfits were nabbed by Thoubal district police commandos and troops of Assam Rifles(AR) during the last 24 hours in separate incidents in Manipur.
The SP (Thoubal), Clay Khongsai said while a female cadre of People's Liberation Army (PLA) was arrested during an operation, another militant of the same organisation was also nabbed later.
Moreover, the A R PRO said a PLA rebel was apprehended by the 21 AR personnel yesterday, adding another militant of the same outfit was caught in a separate incident.
Meanwhile, the troops of 34 AR yesterday nabbed two ultras of the People's United Liberation Front (PULF) (Azad), the PRO said adding a Kangleipak Communist Party KCP (MC) cadre was also apprehended by the troops of 23 AR.
