Nepal police kill terror head of Terai
Kathmandu, Aug 30 (UNI) Nepal Police have shot dead Kaushal Sahani alias John, the chief of underground armed outfit Terai Army, responsible for several explosions in the Himalayan nation.
''Sahani along with his bodyguard were shot dead by police in Raghunathpur area of Rautahat district on Friday night,'' Nepalnews reports quoting police said.
Sahani has been accused of masterminding several explosions in the capital and elsewhere in the country in the past.
There are around a dozen such underground radical groups active in Terai but they have calm down since the Constituent Assembly polls held in April.
