Mild quake jolts Arunachal

New Delhi, Aug 30 (UNI) A mild earthquake, measuring 4.8 on the Richter scale, today jolted the Myanmar border region of Arunachal Pradesh.

The tremor, which occurred at 2012 hrs, was epicentred at 26.7 degrees North and 95.3 degrees East, a meteorological release here said.

However, no loss of life or damage to property was reported, the release added.
