Kerala to resort to agitation before Parliament
Thiruvananthapuram, Aug 30 (UNI) The ruling Left Democratic Front (LDF) in Kerala today decided to organise an agitation before Parliament protesting against Centre's ''negligence'' and slashing of ration quota to the State, LDF Convener Vaikom Viswan said here.
Talking to newspersons after a meeting of the LDF, he said the agitation would begin in the State before the commencement of next Parliament session, while in Delhi it would be after the session.
Similar agitations would also be held before all the Central Government offices in the State.
Condemning the attacks against Christians in Orissa, Mr Viswan said evening dharnas would be staged before the Raj Bhavan and all district head-quarters on September two.
