Groundnutseed, oil, RBD Palmolein up

Mumbai, Aug 30 (UNI) Prices of groundnutseed and oil and RBD palmolein went up today on speculative demand from stockists, traders at the Bombay Commodity Exchange said.

In oils (10 kg), groundnutoil and RBD palmolein edged up by Rs five and Rs 12 per ten kg respectively, on brisk buying support by stockists. Sunflower exp ref and castor comm advanced by Rs five and Rs 12 per 10 kg respectively, on renewed buying support by bulk consumers, traders said.

Among seeds (per quintal), groundnutseed and nigerseed moved up by Rs 25 and Rs 100 per quintal respectively, on sustained demand by local dealers. Castorseed Bombay also shot up by Rs 60 per quintal on better buying support.

Javas 60/70, javas 70/80 and javas 80/90 remained unchanged on moderate demand by stockists.

All de-oiled cakes remained steady today.
