Comrade Dharam Singh Kasni passes away
Chandigarh, Aug 30 (UNI) Comrade Dharam Singh Kasni, an eminent social worker, journalist and father of Mr Pardeep Kasni, Additional Director, Haryana Information and Public Relations Department, died at Charkhi-Dadri this morning.
He was 80 and survived by his wife and two sons.
The last rites of Comrade Dharam Singh Kasni would be performed at Charkhi-Dadri tomorrow.
Comrade Dharam Singh Kasni was father-in-law of Mrs Neelam Pardeep Kasni, Director, Haryana Social Justice and Empowerment Department.
In a condolence message issued here today, Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda described Comrade Dharam Singh Kasni as a social worker who stood for the cause of the common man, especially the labourers.
The Chief Minister prayed that the departed soul might rest in peace. He also conveyed his heartfelt sympathies to the members of the bereaved family.
Chief Parliamentary Secretary Dharambir, Media Advisor to Chief Minister Sunder Pal, Commissioner and Secretary, Haryana Information and Public Relations K K Khandelwal and staff of the Information and Public Relations Department also condoled the death of Comrade Dharam Singh Kasni.
