CM fixes Friday to meet people

Itanagar, Aug 30 (UNI) Sticking to his 'People First' commitment Chief Minister Dorjee Khandu has decided to go for 'Public Darshan' every Friday outside his office chamber.

''Come Friday, despite his busy schedule and series of meetings, the Chief Minister would meet scores of people to redress their grievances,'' official sources here today said.

He will listen to their problems in the lawn of his office so as to relieve them of rigorous security checking at the entrance, sources added.

In order to translate his government's commitment into reality, he would personally listen to over 200 people from across the state, sources informed.
