Central Railways Mega Block on Harbour Line tomorrow

Mumbai, Aug 30 (UNI) The Central Railway (CR) will operate Mega Block on its suburban sections for carrying out maintenance work tomorrow.

All the Down Harbour line services leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) to Vashi, Belapur, Panvel from 1039 hours to 1553 hours will remain cancelled, a CR release said.

All Up Harbour line services for CST leaving from Panvel, Belapur and Vashi from 1034 hours to 1547 hours will also remain cancelled.

However, special locals at a frequency of around 20 to 25 minutes will be run on CST - Kurla - CST and Vashi - Panvel - Vashi sections of Harbour line during the block period.

The passengers will be allowed to travel via Thane - Vashi section from 1000 hours to 1800 hours on the day. Services of Harbour line to Bandra/Andheri and back will run as per schedule on the day.

All Up fast line services leaving Kalyan from 1030 hours to 1543 hours will be diverted on Up Slow line between Kalyan and Thane stations halting at all stations, the release added.
