Bank official booked for misappropriation

Puducherry, Aug 30 (UNI) Police today registered a case against a deputy manager of a private bank here for misappropriation of funds.

According to police, the fraud came to light when the senior manager checked the accounts and found the deputy manager had misappropriated funds to the tune of Rs 9.70 lakh.
