Amritsar-London Jet flight diverted to Delhi due to snag
New Delhi, Aug 30 (UNI) The Amritsar-London Jet flight was today diverted to Delhi due to ''technical snag''.
''A mild crack in the windshield of flight 9W-124 was detected as soon as it left Amritsar at 1425 hrs. So instead of landing at Amritsar Airport, it was diverted to Delhi,'' a Jet Airways spokesperson told UNI.
She said the passengers would be shifted to another Jet aircraft, A330, which would leave Delhi Airport for London at 1800 hrs today.
She clarified that it was not an emergency landing, but a ''diversion''.
