Lawyers rally to reinstate judges

Lahore / Karachi / Islamabad, August 29, 2008 : Thousands of black-suited lawyers sat down on roads in all major cities of Pakistan to press the coalition, led by Pakistan People Party to reappoint dozens of judges who were purged by former president Pervez Musharraf.

Musharraf had dismissed these judges when he had imposed emergency rule in November.
