Thief arrested in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh

Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, Aug 29: A thief, who managed to give police a slip while being taken to court, was arrested last night here, police said today.

Ramshankar Sirdar (27), who was arrested on the charge of stealing motorcycle, was being taken to the district court by two constables when he escaped while waiting for bus.

The two constables immediately informed the police station.

Several raids were carried out and the thief was caught during night.
