RBD Palmolein recovers, groundnutseed eases

Mumbai, Aug 29 (UNI) Price of RBD palmolein recovered today owing to sustained demand by stockists, while groundnutseed and its oil declined on lack of demand, traders at the Bombay Commodity Exchange said.

In oils (10 kg), RBD palmolein was up by Rs 6 per 10 kg on better buying support by stockists.

Groundnut raw and cottonseed (refined) fell by Rs 5 and Rs 3 per 10 kg respectively on sluggish demand by bulk consumers. Even, copra white and ricebran also slipped by Rs 5 per ten kg each on lower buying support, traders said.

Among seeds (per quintal), groundnutseed and nigerseed moved down by Rs 25 per quintal each, on sustained heavy selling pressure by local dealers.

Javas 60/70, javas 70/80 and javas 80/90 remained unchanged on moderate demand by stockists.

All de-oiled cakes remained steady today.
