Nab those actually responsible for Poohla attack: SGPC chief
Fatehgarh Sahib, Aug 29 (UNI) Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee president Avtar Singh Makkar today demanded that a proper probe be conducted to nab the master-mind behind the fatal attack on Nihang chief Baba Ajit Singh Poohla.
''No one has right to take law in his hand'', the SGPC chief said when asked to comment upon the attack on the controversial Nihang chief inside high-security Amritsar Central Jail yesterday.
Talking to mediapersons at Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Engineering College, Fatehgarh Sahib, Mr Makkar said that jail authorities should initiate probe behind attack on Poohla to pin point ''who is actually responsible for the attack.'' Mr Makkar condemned the alleged forcible cutting of hair of Sikh prisoners in Florida and said SGPC would write to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and embassies of all countries in this respect.
