APPSC follows reservation rules: Minister
Hyderabad, Aug 29 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Home Minister K Jana Reddy today said the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) was observing reservation rules in the selection of candidates for Group-I main examinations.
Replying to a question raised by TDP members D Veerabhadra Rao and B Narayana Rao, the Minister said the APPSC was also observing reservation rules in the selection of candidates for written examination for Group-II and other appointments.
When the members asked whether the Andhra Pradesh High Court had observed the selections were contrary to the provisions of the Constitution, he said as there were different observations made by the High Court, a Special Leave Petition had been filed in the matter.
