2 killed, 32 hurt in Kohat suicide attacks
Kohat (Pak), Aug 29 : At least two persons were killed and 32 others, including 25 security men, were injured in three suicide attack attempts at the same spot in Kohat region of the North West Frontier Province (NWFP) today.
According to sources, the suicide bombers attempted to ram three explosive-laden cars at a security forces camp in a building near the Kohat tunnel in Darra Adamkhel.
The first suicide bomber drove his double cab towards the building housing security forces, but security personnel opened fire on the vehicle before it could reach the structure, The News quoted the sources as saying.
While the first car exploded at the gate of the complex, the second blasted after hitting the wall, whereas the third suicide bomber left the car at the gate of the camp and fled the scene.
Two persons were killed in the blasts, confirmed the sources.
