Silver, gold up on bullish advice

Mumbai, Aug 28: The upward march in precious metals continued for the second consecutive day on Thursday, Aug 28 with Silver zooming up by Rs 120 per kg and Gold rose by Rs 40 on sustained demand from industrial users, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association said.

Following were the closing rates of spot Silver and Gold: Silver (per kg) 999 fineness grade : Rs 21,280 (21,160) Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 11,935 (11,895) Gold 99.9 purity pure gold : Rs 12,000 (11,970).
