Scribe stabbed to death; policemen suspended
Agra, Aug 28 (UNI) Two unidentified assailants brutally murdered a journalist in the Hariparvat area here today.
Nesha Naresh, a daily eveninger's Correspondant Mahesh Sharma fell to the ground after the criminals fired at him, while he was heading towards his destination on a scooter, SSP Raghubir Lal said.
Later, the duo stabbed him repeatedly with a sharp-edged weapon, SSP added.
The profusely bleeding scribe was taken to a private nursing home, where doctors pronounced him brought dead.
Police have launched a manhunt and stated the murder was planned due to an enmity.
Meanwhile, station incharge (Hariparwat) Indrajeet and station incharge (Chatta) Sureshvir Singh have been suspended for laxity.
