One killed and nine injured in Kashmir

Srinagar, Aug 28 (UNI) One person was killed and nine others were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir valley, official sources said today.

They said a vehicle hit a motorcyclist Javid Ahmad Paddar near Jawbera on Srinagar-Jammu national highway. He was immediately rushed to hospital where he died.

Seven persons were injured when their vehicle with an accident at Zacahaldara in the frontier district of Kupwara. The five seriously wounded were admitted to Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) at Soura here, they said.

Two motorcyclists were injured when a CRPF vehicle hit them near Drangbal Pampore. The injured were admitted to SKIMS, they said.
