New Appointments at Singapore Airlines

New Delhi, Aug 21 (UNI) Singapore Airlines today announced the appointment of Mr Rajiv Varma as the national Marketing Manager for its operations in India.

Mr Varma, who was Head, Passenger Sales for the Northern India region, is replaced by Mr Sandeep Patil, a Singapore Airlines statement said.

A graduate in business administration, Mr Verma comes with a 15 years of varied travel experience, having worked with domestic airlines and CRS companies in the past.

He has been a part of the Singapore Airlines for the past six years.

Mr Patil, an IIM Ahmedabad alumnus, joined the Airlines straight from the campus and is an avid movie buff.

His current role entails driving passenger sales strategy in North India.

He was earlier Airlines' marketing division in Mumbai.
